BILLING AND FEES
1.  INITIAL CONSULTATION AND RETAINER

The initial consultation appointment is one of the most important meetings because it is the first time that the attorney will sit down with you to discuss your case in-depth. The initial consultation fee is $200 and must be paid at the end of the appointment.

Within a week after after the initial consultation, a retainer fee agreement will be presented to you to sign.  The retainer is like a down payment on our legal services.  It represents a percentage of the total fee that you will owe for our legal services (typically about 50% of the total fee).  Please note that our representation of your case will not begin until the retainer has been paid in full.

2.  FEE

Reduced rates may be available depending on your income.

3.  COURT COSTS AND INVESTIGATION EXPENSES

Court costs and the cost of investigation and development of facts necessary for the proper handling of your case (ex. deposition, private investiagators, court reporters) will be incurred only upon your authorization.  You will be required to advance these costs.

4.  BILLING

Our policy is to send monthly statements of account to update you on how the attorney has billed the time spent on your case and to notify you of any monies that may be due.  If there is a discrepancy or issue with your statement, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may resolve the issue in a timely manner.

5.  ITEMS YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED FOR

We will not bill you for phone calls, emails or standard postage mailings.

6.  MISSED APPOINTMENTS

It is understandable that situations may arise that are beyond your control, therefore we ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you will be late or will miss a scheduled appointment.

If you are a "no show" for more than two (2) appointments, you will be billed at the standard hourly rate of $150 per hour for the amount of time that you were scheduled to meet with the attorney.  If we don't know that you are not coming to your appointment, then you are considered a no show!

7.  ACCEPTABLE METHODS OF PAYMENT

We will happily honor cashier's checks, money orders, credit/debit cards and Paypal payments.  We do not accept personal checks or cash.

Thank you!  We sincerely appreciate your business!
