District of Columbia foreclosure sales and evictions stayed

Effective March 16, 2020, by Administrative Order of the Court:

• All mortgage foreclosure, landlord and tenant, debt collection, tax foreclosure and housing court cases scheduled before May 15, 2020 are continued. The Court will issue new notices regarding dates.
  
• All evictions of tenants and foreclosed homeowners scheduled on or before May 15, 2020 are immediately stayed.
  
• All mediations scheduled before May 1, 2020 will be rescheduled (or possibly held by phone).
