Maryland foreclosure sales and evictions stayed

Effective March 18, 2020, by Administrative Order of the Maryland Court of Appeals:

• Mortgage foreclosure for residential properties and foreclosure of right to redeem residential property after tax sale pending in the Circuit Court shall be immediately stayed.
  
• Residential eviction matter pending in the District Court and all pending residential eviction orders shall be immediately stayed.
  
• New foreclosure of residential properties, foreclosure of right to redeem after tax sale and residential evictions shall be stayed upon filing.
